Pay It Forward

I teach in a 6th and 7th grade only middle school. I am the library media specialist. I teach a lot of frameworks to all of these kids. I have 825 students. I see 400 weekly. One of the parents of one of my students sent me a present. Her son is 12 and in 6th grade. She had a baby last summer. She sent me all of her baby's first year clothing. Some things have never been worn. You remember with babies and how fast they grow, some things they were once. The clothes filled an entire laundry basket. I couldn't get over it. She also makes darling head bands with big flowers on the top. She told me every time she makes one for her baby, she will make one for me. Is that not the sweetest thing ever? I thanked her on the phone and sent her a note for this. Her family moved to my town from Jonesboro. I was one of the first people she met and I guess she liked me. I asked her if I could pay her for the clothes. She said, "No, just do something nice for some else."

I have been so busy getting ready for MK's birthday party and doctor's appointments that I haven't blogged much. My baby is turning 4 on Sunday. I just can't believe it. She is a joy to have. We are so blessed to be her parents. She is having a party this weekend at a place that has inflatables. She is so excited. I have been working on party favors for the kids.
I also enrolled her in a sibling class at the hospital. She is really excited about taking this class.

I also passed my glucose tolerance test, so I don't have to worry with gestational diabetes.
Things are going great.

I ordered a few things this week for my girls. You will see these in pictures.

I hope you are having a great week!

This is a beautiful window in the baby's room. I have curtains being made for this.

Party Favors
They are are filled with Welch's fruit snacks, a few pieces of candy, lip gloss rings for the girls, bubbles, stamps, and play doh.

That was so nice of your new friend to gift you with clothes for Madelyn! I can't wait to see more pics of her nursery and MK's birthday party this weekend. Being pregnant, I don't see how you do all that you do!! Yep! You have a 4 year old on your hands! Welcome to MY world!!

Way to go! Hand-me-down baby clothes are the best. What a great lady.
Congrats on passing the glucose test. Flunking it is NO fun!
Love the tote bags, my boys may need those.
