Birthday Recap

Thursday was a typical day, I picked Mary-Kate up from school. Once home, she ate a snack, got ready for dance, and out the door we went. Thara picked her up from dance because I met with a lady back at our house who is making Madelyn's curtains for me. As soon as she got in the car she told her Daddy her tummy hurt. Within 30 minutes she was throwing up. We were all up all night. We both stayed home on Friday. She was fine by Friday night. Saturday morning, fine. Saturday night she complained of her stomach hurting. She never threw up, but couldn't lift herself off of the floor. My parents came over Saturday night to give her birthday presents a little early. She didn't even have enough energy to open them. I felt so bad for her. She woke up Sunday feeling great. Then it was my turn. Pregnancy and stomach bugs aren't great. I started having contractions. Also not fun on MK's birthday and party day.

Mary-Kate turned 4 on Sunday! She was so excited to be four. She told me that she was really a big kid now. Her party started at 2:00 and ended at 3:30. She had lots of friends from church, school, dance, and family come to the party. The kids had so much fun. It went by so fast. (Thank goodness. Remember I am having contractions.) I have some pictures of her cake (a PET SHOP cake) and the play area. My husband was the photographer. We don't have a lot of pictures, but got precious video footage of she and her friends.

Happy Birthday to my sweet girl! It won't be long and she will have to share us with her sister. I hope she can do it. I have her signed up for a Sibling Class at the hospital in May.
