What We've Been Up To and Mady 3 months
School has started and of course the year is going fast. Mary-Kate is loving pre-K. They are learning so many things. She is working on shapes, cutting, and gluing. They are working on a back to school unit. It is wonderful to see that she is already a "good" student and listens to her teacher. Mary-Kate starts dancing lessons next week. She is able to take gymnastics through her school. It is a great program. She told me the other day that she needed to turn off the lights in her room to save "electrikity." She was so serious about it too. I had to leave them room to laugh.
Mady is 3 months old. She can laugh, turn over, giggle, talk, and cuddle. She is a long baby. She is in 3/6 month clothes because I can't snap them. She is in size 1 diapers. She ADORES MK. She laughs out loud when she sees her. I love them so much!

Back to School
MK hiding her eyes
MK sporting her new backpack!
Mady wearing a lady bug dress that MK wore too.
My girls have been going to school together for the past few weeks. This was the first official day of PreK for MK so I got their picture together. Yep that's right. Horrible that I don't have a picture of them both looking at me. She was so excited to be in a new class this year! They have already been learning so much. Way more than I did when I was in Kindergarten even. She will be prepared for school for sure. Mady just goes with the flow. We love her teacher too! Ms. Cindy is fantastic. This will be the only time my girls will ever be in the same building together for school! I can't wait for school pictures this year to get both of them together. I have to get Mady's 3 month picture scheduled tomorrow. I have big sister\little sister poses already in mind.
We have been in Professional Development training for the last couple of days. School started on Thursday for us.
My dad is doing well. He is out of the hospital. Guys he was there 32 days. He is now back in the nursing center getting rehab for physical therapy. He will begin chemo again in 3 weeks. We are praying the cancer hasn't spread anywhere else. It already has moved to bones. My mom is hanging in there. We teach in the same building so I get to see her. It is hard not to bring my Mady around my dad. She has had shots and they are dangerous for him to be around having had chemo.
