Activities

1st soccer practice!
Running as fast a a deer!

Before church last Sunday!
Just realized they are holding hands

We couldn't be busier right now if we tried! MK is taking dance and goes to Awana. Mady is involved in Kindermusik. MK is now playing soccer. She had her first practice tonight and she had a blast. She is so pumped up about it. She wants to win a trophy. Ha! I am not one bit athletic so I get a kick out of seeing her. My husband was so maybe she gets it from him. I didn't know how long the practices would last or that the whole town plays soccer at the same time. I had Mady Moo with me. And let me just say she gave me a run for my money. She played on the field. Kicked the soccer balls. Danced. Sang. Tried to play soccer. Picked up all of the cones. (Thought she was the coach.) Yelled out, "That's my KayKay." She loves her sister. Fun times. I am loving watching them. I am blessed x2.

Something funny!

My Mady is looking like a little girl, not a baby!

My Mom bought Mady these glasses! They open up! Mary-Kate saw them and said, "Mady, you can see what's behind you now." I guess they look like rear view mirrors when they are opened!

Valentine's Day

Mary-Kate is making a craft to give to us!

This was so cute!
I love stuff with her picture in it.
Mary-Kate has the best teacher and the best class this year. They are so well behaved. It makes a difference when you are wanting them to get a great first start at school. She has learned to so much. I have been really impressed. Her preschool experience and us working with her at home has really helped her to blossom this year. Hope she always has eagerness to learn!

Snow Day 2012

Our Triceratops
She was throwing snow up
We had Mady outside just long enough to snap this picture.
I figured it wouldn't snow this season because I actually bought them snow outfits this year. So at least they could wear it once.

I have mixed feelings about a snow day in Feb. They are really nice in January. In Feb. and especially with the unusual temps, I was ready for spring. Although, being a working mom, I love staying home with these girls any chance I get.

An Interview with Mady

I'M MADY!
I AM 20 MONTHS OLD!

I have been a little concerned with Mady. She just didn't talk much. Everyone said, big sister was talking for her. That could be. We would all race to get her what we thought she wanted before she had to ask. She was just so quiet. When she would say things, it wouldn't come out right sometimes. I was worried about her hearing since she has had so many ear infections.

She moved up to a toddler classroom. It has helped a lot with her talking. She has someone to talk with during her day. Also we enrolled her in Kindermusik. I highly recommend this. Thara and I took that class with Mary-Kate when she was 15 months. She was a little young, but she loved it. She is so musical. She can sing really well. She does well in math too. I think it all ties together. So I wanted the same experience for Mady.

It was fabulous. She started talking in her class. Now she doesn't stop talking. She is pretty clear too. The theme is All the Places You'll Go. I love it. We sang a lot of railroad songs. She got to play with instruments. She listened to sounds trains make. She also got a train book. It really brought her voice out!

So here's Mady.
