It Saddens Mean to Write This

My Dad passed away early Sunday morning. We had a visitation on Tuesday and his funeral on Wednesday. It has been one of the hardest things I have ever been through. He was in the hospital for three weeks. He was in hospice care the last week or so in the hospital. He fought cancer so hard. Even til the end! I love my dad so much! The tears come in waves.

At the funeral, the men doing the service new my dad well. That really helps make something like that personal. They talked about his life as a child and adult. They spoke of his interests.

One thing really stands out that they said. He made sure his family, all of his family, knew about Jesus.

Nothing is more important than that.

I am so very sorry. I hated reading this, yet I know he is in a much better place now. Nothing can take away the hurt of knowing your daddy is gone though. I will be lifting you up in prayer.

I'm so sorry Kelley. Even though I don't blog often, I still follow yours, and I was so sad to see of your dad's passing. At least you have no doubt that he is Heaven and having a wonderful time!
