My friend, Darla, the one that invited us to the circus back in May, invited us to go to the fair today. She has a daughter, Tori, that is MK's age. She also has a 12 week old baby girl at home. The baby didn't go with us. OK, the fair is another money pit. My daughter loves to ride rides. I am not a thrill seeker. Yet I rode all kinds of rides today with the girls. We rode gigantic slides that you go down in sacks. You walk up so many flights of stairs. I was hoping MK wouldn't like it. It was so fun, she had to ride twice. I got my exercise in. Ha! We rode a kiddie roller coaster. I couldn't believe the girls wanted to ride this. I thought it was a little too big for them. So Darla and I stuffed ourselves in the seats to ride with them. We took a brief intermission and took the girls to see the livestock show. Here are a few pictures to document our time.
MK and Tori on the train
All in all, I am glad that we went. The girls had a lot of fun. Darla and I got to laugh a lot! Darla and I go way back. My mom was her 6th grade teacher. She and I attended the same college and were in the same sorority.

Looks like a fun day!
I swear your Fair is headed our way in the next week or two. Ours is always the last week in September. And yes! It is a money pit, but we've taken Alise every year with the same friend except last year. She's already asked to go this year, so I'm sure we'll make plans. Looks like you had fun and I'm loving MK's blouse and matching bow!!
The picture of Mary-Kate on the horse is just precious! She is so cute! By the way, I love all the things you posted in your READY FOR FALL post! Especially the taco soup and HL !!!
Have a great week, Kelley!
I love the little train. I can't wait to take Henry on train rides!
