MK and I went to the lake to see the ducks and have a picnic lunch. There was a big fishing tournament going on. We watched the boats and waited to see if anyone caught the "big one." We left the lake and went to the playground.

Enjoy every minute with MK. I was SO blessed when my boys were in elementary school that Steve gave me Fridays off to spend with them during the summer!! Those are some sweet memories for me.

It was windy by the lake. When we got to the park, it had warmed up a bit. That is so nice that your boss gave you the time off. I am finding out that time is flying with her. She is such the big girl now.
I know you had a great time at the lake today. I'm so glad you two were able to spend time together. I hope I get a day this week with MK. I hope we get to plant some "bedgetables." Maybe I'll rest up in a few days now that Daddy is home, and the weather will cooperate for "bedgetables" getting planted in the garden.
