I got this little dress from ETSY. It is a knot dress. As she gets taller, I take out the knot and move it. I thought that was clever sewing!

My little girl is growing up so fast! At her school they learn a letter, a number, and a color a week. They are also learning to write. She is a little sponge picking up so much. She got to hold the flag while reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. She was so proud. She also said a special prayer to Jesus this week, she said, "Jesus, thank you for MY BABY, that is growing in Mommy's tummy." We had to tell her about the baby. I couldn't keep it from her anymore. I go to the doctor on Thursday to hear a heartbeat. I am a little nervous about this. Last time around, I invited my mom (it was her birthday), of course my hubby, and my mother-in-law. They were all standing around waiting for the doctor to find the heartbeat. He couldn't find it. In one tiny second, my heart fell. I know I stopped breathing. He said that we would warm up the ultrasound machine and we would see what was going on. We got to see MK's heartbeat and her kicking around. She was just too small for it to be found with the machine he had. I was so relieved that she was okay. So pray on Thursday that if this happens again, my new doctor will be as encouraging and will warm up the ultrasound machine.
We took Mary-Kate to Senior night at my nephew Collin's last football game. We are so proud of Collin. He is such a Godly guy. He wants to do what is right when no one is looking. That's when it counts. The game was pretty sad. We were losing and they wouldn't let him play. Mary-Kate said to my dad, "PawPaw, the suspense is killing me." We all cracked up. She says some pretty funny things now days.
Today, she rode a four-wheeler for the first time with my brother, Jim. She told him it was awesome. He took her to the cow pasture to pet some cows and horses. She loved it. She adores Jim. She really thinks he is the coolest thing. He loves it too!
Oh, I got both the seasonal flu shot and H1N1 shot last week. The had them at my school. I have been praying really hard about this. There are some things that led me to make this decision that happened to other people in my home town. I have not had any ill effects. My arms were a little sore. The nurses got on either side of me and gave me shots one on each arm at the same time. The H1N1 arm was sore, but no big deal.
Hope you all have a great week!

That's awesome that MK is excited about the new baby!! I hope and pray that your appointment goes great!! We find out Friday if our 3rd artificial insemination worked! I am SO excited but SCARED at the same time. Continuing to trust and believe! We are not going to make the announcement until we have heard a heartbeat and had our first ultrasound. After what happened last time we just feel that this is what we need to do.
Have a great week!
That dress is too cute! I will be praying for you and that everything goes great on Thursday!!
Lovin' the Etsy dress! Adorable.
I'll be praying for your Thursday appointment at the doctor. God is with you, Kelley.
I love the dress. Smart girl to like the 4-wheeler...I love it. My husband bought me one for Vlanetine's Day one year. Odd gift. I too got hte H1N1 and I feel so much more at ease out in public having it in my system.

Shelby had the flu last week. So, after that scare I signed all 3 of the older girls up for the vaccine at school. I will pray that your doctor's visit goes well. How fun for MK. Having a baby on the way is so exciting. Our older girls still ask for another baby sometimes!
Blessings,
Shawn
